GlobCredit.com Gets A Mention In The Wall Street Journal's "Wallet" Blog

I love The Wallet, a Wall Street Journal blog that covers personal finance (and investing news and trends). The Wallet's author, Mary Pilon, is terrific (and not just because she pointed to my blog today). She's sharp, witty, and incisive. I read her column every day and I've pointed to her blog in the past (link here).

If you're not a regular reader of The Wallet, I encourage you to give the column a read. Although a good deal of the Journal's site is subscription based, the blogs are not. They're free.

The Wallet's home page can be found here (link). It's usually updated several times throughout the day.

Meanwhile, here is the "Loose Change" story from today (link here) mentioning GlobCredit.com.

Thanks, Mary.

Thanks, BW. Always nice to get a little pub. I'm glad it was The Wallet, though. It's a great blog and it's nice that I can point right back to it and shamelessly promote it as well.

My, my, my - WSJ is quite a prestigious institution and a mention from them is significant. Congrats Marcus.

FLT, thanks. Always nice when a well-respected institution points anything your way. Though I was just "lint" today, maybe I'll be a dime or quarter in the future.

Thanks, midnite. All pub is good pub. Hopefully some of the readers who find me will stick around, thinking that I have something to offer (which I think I do).

Holy heck! Glad to know some folks more prominent than myself have noticed you!

Lion, it does help that I come from that industry (media). I imagine it gives me some credibility right off the bat. Probably makes it easier for them to point to my blog.

It's nice to see that someone outside of my mom thinks the blog is pretty cool. Haha.

Thanks for your support, Lion.

Congratulations! I only discovered your blog last week, but I've already read through the archives. You also caused me to waste a few hours of my life in the soul-crushing Yahoo Answers credit board. I'm still recovering...

Anyway, great blog, great advice, and all links from the trad media are good. :-b

Lisa, sorry about the Yahoo Answers stuff. LOL. I am sure that we've all wasted several hours there. There is almost no helping those people. Latebreakfast, a reader of my blog, and a poster at Yahoo Answers, is holding down the fort for all of us. She's great. In addition to the lost hours over there, we probably lost a few brain cells there as well -- as we sparred with those Dave Ramsey disciples.

Glad to see that you're participating in my comments section just a week after you found the blog. Good. Hope you'll be a regular contributor.

Thanks for the kudos.

Take care.

Wow! This is awesome!

Then again, I shouldn't be surprised, considering your background in the media profession.

Way to go, M! I've added The Wallet to my favorites.

Virgil, it does help to know a lot of people. We'll talk about it Thursday at my Webcast.

Marilie, thanks.

And congrats on bookmarking the Wallet. You'll like it. That goes for all of the WSJ blogs (which are all free). You should check them out.
